How to use TWINT with QR payment slips (predefined amount)

This article explains how to enhance a QR payment slip with TWINT while allowing supporters to choose from predefined donation amounts. The QR payment slip can be scanned with the TWINT app and opens a donation form based on your Touchpoint Solution configuration.

Overview

You can extend a QR payment slip with TWINT so that supporters can scan it using the TWINT app and complete a donation through a personalised donation form.

Unlike a QR payment slip with a fixed amount, this setup uses the donation amount configuration from your TWINT Donations Touchpoint Solution. Supporters can select from predefined amounts and, if enabled, enter a custom amount.

How it works

Create a TWINT Donations Touchpoint Solution

1. Log in to RaiseNow Hub.
2. Go to Touchpoint Solutions.
3. Create a new TWINT Donations Touchpoint Solution.
4. Configure the layout and branding.
5. Configure the donation amount options.
6. Add any additional supporter data fields if required.

Configure donation amounts

In your Touchpoint Solution:

1. Define the suggested donation amounts.
2. Optionally enable a custom amount field.
3. Save the configuration.

These settings determine what supporters see after scanning the QR payment slip.

Configure the QR payment slip

1. Copy the required Touchpoint Solution parameters from RaiseNow Hub.
2. Add these parameters to the QR payment slip payload.
3. Generate and distribute the QR payment slip.

This links the QR payment slip to your Touchpoint Solution.

After scanning:

• The donation form opens automatically
• The predefined amounts from the Touchpoint Solution are displayed
