If you have a Growth price plan, you can use a custom template for your donation tax receipt. To make it easier for you, we have prepared an example. You can use this one or your own as long as it meets the technical requirements and is in line with the legal regulations of your country.
You can download an example template at the end of this article, or use your own. You can also adapt the template as desired, as long as it complies with legal regulations.
Hint: You are responsible for making sure that the used template complies with the legal requirements and is up to date. Any legal changes must be incorporated into the template by yourself. RaiseNow is not liable. If you have questions in regards to the regulations and template, please contact your tax advisor or tax office directly.
To comply with the technical requirements, you need to make sure that the following fields are present:

These fields will be automatically filled with the information from the transaction.
Tipps for successful template creation:
- Consistent formatting and field labeling: stick to the predefined field format specified above, otherwise you will not be able to upload your template
- Review Spacing: Double-check that all fields, especially for addresses and amounts, have sufficient space for the intended input. E.g. an address field needs to accommodate 5 lines. Amount fields need to be long enough for big amounts.
- Optional Fields Usage: If you decide to use the fields marked as optional, they will be dynamically populated with the data provided in RaiseNow Hub. Alternatively, you can delete these optional fields and manually enter the information directly into the PDF as simple text. In this case, the fields will not be dynamically filled.
- Use Adobe Acrobat Pro: To ensure the PDF is formatted correctly and compatible with the upload system, it is recommended to create and edit your document using Adobe Acrobat Pro. Using other PDF editing tools may lead to conflicts or formatting issues that could prevent the template from working as intended.
