Many charitable organisations are qualified to issue a donation tax receipt for their supporters. We offer this functionality in our donation forms and touchpoint solutions for Growth clients in selected countries. If the donation tax receipt option is enabled, a link to a PDF will be added to the donation confirmation email. Clicking on this link, the supporter has to verify their details to open the tax receipt PDF. Eligible organisations can activate this feature by following a few steps.

Step 1: Activate the Donation Tax Receipt Option:
- Log in to RaiseNow Hub
- Go to Organisation -> Tax Receipt
- Upload your custom template (more information on uploading the custom template here: Using your own template for the donation tax receipt)
- Do this for all required languages and click “Save”
- Important: if you want the tax receipt link to be added to the confirmation emails automatically, make sure to activate confirmation emails in Organisation -> Communication.
Step 2: Activate the option in the solution settings:
- Go to “Touchpoint Solutions”
- Create or edit a “donations” or “TWINT donations” touchpoint solution
- Scroll down to “Donation tax receipt” and activate the toggle:
- Configure the fields based on your requirements. Please note, that some field settings you make may be overwritten for the feature to work properly.
- Scroll down and enable “Enable supporters to download a donation tax receipt”. This will create and attach the PDF to the confirmation email.
- Once you're happy with all the other settings, publish your solution
- If you want a preview of your tax receipt, you can either make a donation yourself or you can go to “organisation settings” -> “Tax receipt” and click on the “Preview” button.
This is it! Every time a supporter makes a donation and ticks the checkbox “I want a tax receipt”, a link to that donation's tax receipt is automatically attached to the confirmation email. You can also access the link through the export file and in the transaction details card.

- Add the tax receipt URL to your CRM through one of our integrations
- Activate the feature in your Tamaro widget.
