This article explains how to check whether a payment was successful. It covers instant confirmation options, email notifications, and how to verify payments directly in RaiseNow Hub.
Overview
There are several ways to confirm whether a payment has been completed successfully. Depending on the Touchpoint Solution and your setup, you can receive instant confirmations on-site, email notifications, or check payment statuses directly in RaiseNow Hub.
Supporters also receive confirmation through their payment method and, if enabled, via email.
How it works
Instant payment confirmation (in person)
For in-person payments, you can use the Digital Terminal with instant payment confirmation. This shows a real-time confirmation on your device as soon as the payment is completed. This option is typically used at events or points of sale.

Email notifications for successful payments
You can enable email notifications for successful payments made through Touchpoint Solutions that collect supporter details.
To activate payment confirmation emails:
Log in to RaiseNow Hub.
Go to Touchpoint Solutions → Solution overview.
Open the solution and select Details → Settings.
Enable the Transaction confirmation option.
Enter the email address that should receive the notification.
An email is sent each time a payment is completed successfully.
|
Note: Free clients can only enter one email address. Growth clients can add a maximum of two email addresses. |
Check payments in RaiseNow Hub
All transactions are available in real time in RaiseNow Hub.
Log in to RaiseNow Hub.
Click Donations & Payments → Transactions in the main navigation.
Each transaction shows its current status:
Succeeded
The payment was completed successfully.Failed
The payment did not go through. Find out more in this article : Why is a transaction shown as "failed" or "pending" ?
By clicking on Details in the list, a new column opens on the right where you can see the details of this transaction as well as the contact information of the person who made the payment, based on the data your supporter filled in the payment form.
What supporters receive
Supporters receive confirmation in two ways:
An instant confirmation in their payment app (for example, in the TWINT app under Movements)
A confirmation email sent automatically from RaiseNow Hub, if confirmation emails are enabled
|
Note: With the Touchpoint Solution TWINT Payments the payer does not receive a confirmation email. |
