The donation process is executed automatically, thus there is no expiration date as long as the deposited payment is valid.
A recurring donation will only be interrupted if the charge was not possible (for example, an outdated or exceeded credit card).
If the donor would like to donate on a regular basis but only for a certain period, the donation subscription has to be cancelled by the donor in the set time frame.
