Acquiring contracts: American Express

In order to receive donations via credit card payment with an American Express Card we work together with our partner swisscard. (For more information about credit card donations and our Acquiring partners click here and here or find out more about a possible alternative: stripe )

You will receive the swisscard contract together with the SIX contracts. In this article we would like to show you what the contract looks like and explain the important points about it.

This is the first page of the contract:
(Unfortunately swisscard does not have the contracts in English, only French and Italian are available besides German)

You have to fill in all the information marked in yellow.

Point 2

It is important to provide the exact URL under point 2, where you will use the E-Payment/widget solution.

Point 3

Under section 3 you provide swisscard with the general contact details of your organisation, please make sure these are the same as stated on you Chamber of Commerce excerpt.

For "Geschäftszweck/Branche" you can state NGO/NPO.

Lastly, please provide a designated contact person within your organisation.

Point 4

Point 4 asks for the bank account you would like the donations to be paid out to.

Point 5

Point 5 holds the information where you can check the donations online.

The only thing left to do is to add one or two (depending on your signature ruling) legally valid signatures by the representatives of your organisation and you are good to go.
