Transferring PayPal Donations to your Bank Account

Donations made through PayPal do not automatically appear in your organisation’s bank account.

When a supporter makes a donation via PayPal:

• The transaction is visible in RaiseNow Hub and RaiseNow Manager
• The funds are paid directly into your PayPal Business account
• The PayPal Business account acts as a separate online account

To access these funds, you must transfer them from PayPal to your bank account.

Transfer funds manually

Follow these steps to transfer funds from your PayPal Business account to your bank account.

Transfer money to your bank account

1. Log in to your PayPal account at paypal.com.
2. Go to Dashboard or Wallet.
3. Click Transfer Money.
4. Select Transfer to your bank account.
5. Choose the bank account you want to use.
6. Enter the transfer amount.
7. Click Next.
8. Review the transfer details.
9. Click Transfer Now.

The funds will be transferred according to PayPal's processing times.

Set up automatic transfers

To avoid transferring funds manually, you can configure automatic transfers in PayPal.

Configure automatic transfers

1. Log in to your PayPal account.
2. Go to Wallet.
3. Click More Actions.
4. Select Set up automatic transfers.
5. Choose the linked bank account.
6. Select the transfer frequency (for example, daily or weekly).
