Transfering Paypal Donations to your Bank Account

In this article, we will explain, where your donations made through PayPal are and how you can transfer them to your bank account. 

Maybe you already noticed that the donations via PayPal that you can see in the RaiseNow Manager do not end up in your organisation's bank account. The reason is that you have your own Paypal business account, which functions as an online account, and where your Paypal donations are placed. 

However, you can easily transfer the donations from your PayPal account to your regular bank account. Here is a step to step explanation together with a screenshot of the PayPal input mask:

1. Log into your account here https://www.paypal.com.
2. Click on "Balance".
3. Click on "Transfer money".
4. In case you have multiple bank accounts, you can choose one in the drop-down menu
5. Click on "continue".
6. Check your details and click on "send".

Now you will receive all the donations on your PayPal account in your bank account. Nevertheless, when you get new PayPal donations, you have to repeat the procedure. Therefore, it makes sense to do it once a week or month depending on your preference.
