As part of the ongoing platform migration from RaiseNow Manager to RaiseNow Hub, some of your active subscriptions will be moved to the new platform. This article explains where to find your subscriptions in RaiseNow Hub, what to expect after the migration and how to manage subscription-related communication.
Which subscriptions are migrated to RaiseNow Hub
Not all subscription types from RaiseNow Manager can be transferred to RaiseNow Hub. Here’s an overview of what will happen with your existing recurring payments:
Stripe and Datatrans subscriptions
These will be migrated to RaiseNow Hub once the remaining recurring payments have been switched off in RaiseNow Manager. You’ll find them in the Subscriptions section as soon as the migration is completed.
➡️ Please note: The subscription ID will change once a subscription has been migrated to RaiseNow Hub. Please find more information in our Developer Documentation here.
PayPal subscriptions
PayPal subscriptions cannot be migrated to RaiseNow Hub. However, they will continue to run independently via your organisation’s PayPal account. You can still manage and monitor them directly in PayPal.
PostFinance subscriptions
PostFinance subscriptions cannot be migrated to RaiseNow Hub because PostFinance is deprecating the PostFinance Card and e-Finance payment methods. As a result, these payment methods will not be supported in RaiseNow Hub and existing subscriptions using them cannot be transferred. To ensure that you keep these permanent donations, you can find a mail template to contact your supporters here.
Where to access your subscriptions in RaiseNow Hub
In RaiseNow Hub, subscriptions can be accessed directly via the Subscriptions section in the main menu on the left-hand side. This section provides an overview of all active subscriptions, including those migrated from RaiseNow Manager. By default, the list is sorted by creation date, giving you a clear chronological view of your subscriptions.
To help identify migrated subscriptions, you can use the filter function. For example:
- Filter by the payment method “Card” to find credit card-based subscriptions from the previous system.
- Define a date range based on the creation date to narrow down your results.
To get more information about a specific subscription, click on “Details” in the corresponding entry. This will take you to the detail view where you can access additional information and available settings.
➡️ Please note that for migrated subscriptions, historical data is not available – see the next section for more details.
In addition to the Subscriptions section, related recurring charges (e.g. monthly donations) are listed individually in the Transactions section of the main menu.
Important note about historical data
Please be aware that no historical data is transferred with migrated subscriptions. Only the active subscription itself is moved to RaiseNow Hub – previous transactions, charges or supporter communication linked to that subscription will not be visible in RaiseNow Hub.
We recommend exporting any necessary subscription data from RaiseNow Manager before your account is switched off. This ensures you retain access to historical insights for your records or reporting. You can find step-by-step instructions in this article.
Subscription-related emails in RaiseNow Hub
RaiseNow Hub offers a simplified and flexible approach to subscription email communication. You can configure these under Settings in the main menu. From there, go to the Communication section to enable or disable specific emails.
