This article explains how to invite, manage, and remove users in RaiseNow Hub. It is relevant for all users who need to manage access to their organisation and ensures the right people have the right permissions.
Overview
User management in RaiseNow Hub allows organisations to control who can access their account. Any user can invite new or existing users, resend or revoke invitations, and remove users from the organisation.
There are a few important rules to be aware of:
Users cannot deactivate their own account.
-
Invitations expire after 15 days if not accepted.
How it works
Invite a new user
Go to Settings → Users in RaiseNow Hub.
Click Invite users.
Enter one or more email addresses.
Click Invite.
The invited user receives an email with a link to create a password and activate the account. The link is valid for 15 days.
If the invited person already has a RaiseNow account for a different organisation, they receive an invitation and can access your organisation directly in RaiseNow Hub as well. They can switch between organisations in RaiseNow Hub at any time.
Resend an invitation
If an invitation expires before it is accepted, it is marked as expired in the user overview.
Go to Settings → Users.
Find the user with an expired invitation.
Click ... next to the user.
Select Resend invite.
A new email with a new invitation link is sent to the user.
Revoke an invitation
You can revoke an invitation as long as it has not been accepted.
Go to Settings → Users.
Find the user with the pending invitation.
Click ... next to the user.
Select Resend invite.
The invited user will no longer be able to join the organisation using that link.
Remove a user
Removing a user immediately revokes their access to the organisation.
Go to Settings → Users.
Find the user you want to remove.
Click ... next to the user.
Select Remove user.
The user is removed from the organisation but their RaiseNow account remains active if they belong to other organisations. Users cannot remove themselves from an organisation. If you need to be removed, ask another user in your organisation to do this for you.
