This article explains what payment processing fees are, who charges them, and where you can find pricing information for supported payment service providers.

 

Overview

Payment processing fees are charged by payment service providers for processing electronic transactions, such as card payments, online payments, and mobile payments.

These fees cover the transfer of funds from the supporter’s bank account to the merchant or organisation account. They may include costs charged by payment processors, card networks, acquiring banks, and other providers involved in the transaction.

RaiseNow cannot influence payment processing fees. They are defined by the respective payment service provider.

  • AT: 1.90% + €0.35 per transaction
  • US: 1.99% + $0.49 per transaction

RaiseNow fees are separate from payment processing fees.

Depending on your pricing plan, RaiseNow may charge:

  • Fixed monthly fees
  • Platform fees per successful transaction
