What is the difference between Test and Production mode?

Test Mode

Test mode means there are no real donations, only simulated ones.

First, the ELA, LEMA and SERVINO widgets are available in test mode. At the beginning, it is safer to make changes to the widget and then integrate the widget to your site. Methods of payment can also be tested in this mode – but only with TEST payment methods.

All TEST payments will be shown in the RaiseNow Manager and cannot be deleted. It is possible to hide the TEST payments by filtering only the productive transactions.

Production Mode

Donation forms are composed in production mode, as soon as all real funds are available. From this point on, real donations are triggered. Test numbers will no longer be valid.

When changing from Test to Production mode, the browser cache should always be emptied.
