One-Off Donations by Text Messages with Salesforce

Donating by text message is a convenient way for donors to give by sending a text message to a given short number. The contribution amount is charged directly via the carrier contract of the donor.

RaiseNow supports giving by SMS in Switzerland only. Passing the data of SMS donations on to Salesforce is a special case since no actual contact information is available. As Salesforce requires a last name for creating a contact, RaiseNow will automatically add "Incognito Anonymous" as a contact for all donations received via text message when passing the information to Salesforce.
