How to generate individual payment references for an Opportunity

The RaiseNow Fundraising Kit for Salesforce provides functionality to generate payment references for individual Opportunities. 

Configuration

You must create a default configuration in the RaiseNow Fundraising Kit. Navigate to the "Payment Reference Configuration".

Create a new configuration.

If you do not see the button in your page layout you can add it by using the edit page dialog and dragging it from the below left corner to your related list.

We also recommend that you add the Business Process object in your related list in your Opportunity page layout so that users can see if a payment reference was already generated for the given Opportunity. 

Usage

If you create an Opportunity that has a primary contact assigned you can now generate a payment reference for that Opportunity by clicking the button. If RaiseNow registers a payment with that payment reference it will automatically update the Opportunity. 

This feature requires version 1.15 of the RaiseNow Fundraising Kit for Salesforce or above. Please contact our support regarding upgrading your integration.
