Reconciliation Value Date Format
With automated Reconciliation you can check in the RaiseNow Manager for the exact moment when a donation arrived on your bank account.
The parameter rcn_value_date stands for the date when the donation was transferred to your bank account.
Though you filter for the value date in the RaiseNow Manager you will quickly see that it does not show up in a normal format (DD.MM.YYYY):
What you can observe here is that the dates are shown in the unixtimestamp format.
This format is especially convenient for computer systems since it calculates the seconds that have passed since a specific point of time (January 1, 1970 UTC) an. Therefore, it does not change with the time zones but stays the same.
If you want to know when your payment was reconciled, you can:
-
either copy and paste the date into a unixtimestamp calculator service like this one: https://www.unixtimestamp.com/index.php,
-
or open the specific transaction in the RaiseNow Manager, the overview of transaction details features the normal date format under the point Reconciliation:
-
or you export the information as Excel/CSV file, these programmes convert the unixtimestamp format to the comprehensible version automatically.
