What are the fees for a payment received with my touchpoint solution?

There are no setup or fixed recurring fees for registering your organization in the RaiseNow Hub or for creating and managing your TWINT QR codes.

Once you have chosen the type of QR code that is most suitable for your purpose (you can learn more about it here as well as in our video tutorial), you can create as many QR codes as you wish, knowing that transaction fees are only charged when you receive a successful payment with your QR code.

The amount of these fees depends on the type of QR code you use:

• "Receive payments" (TWINT QR Pay): 1.3% 
• "Receive payments and collect payer details" (TWINT QR Pay Plus): 2.5% 
• "Receive donations and collect donor details" (TWINT QR Donate): 2.5% 

Note: When rounding fees we always round to the nearest centime amount; 5 is rounded up.

You can also find an overview of the fees directly in the RaiseNow Hub, in the description of each type of QR code, before you even start creating your TWINT QR code, under the headings "Receive payments", "Receive payments and collect payer details" and "Receive donations and collect donor details".

RaiseNow transfers the payments and donations received with your TWINT QR code (after deducting the fees) on a weekly basis. Currently the payout period is approximately 3 to 9 days, this timeframe depends on when the donation or payment was made. The amounts collected during one week are usually transferred on the Wednesday of the following week on the bank account you provided when you registered. Prior to that you receive an email with the weekly statement showing the gross and net amounts, as well as the exact date of payment into your bank account.
