To secure your RaiseNow Hub account, we use two-step authentication. In addition to your email and password, you can add an extra layer of security using an authentication app or SMS.
When you first log in after signing up, you’ll need to set up Two-Factor Authentication.
We strongly recommend using an authentication app on your mobile or tablet for better security and account accessibility.
Once set up, you can always change your authentication method in your Profile settings.
Setting up Authenticator App for the first time
1. Download an authenticator app from your mobile or tablet app store such as Google Authenticator or Microsoft Authenticator.
2. Launch your Authenticator app
3. If you’re on your desktop, select “Scan a QR code” - option in your app, and proceed to scan the QR code on the login page.
4. Enter the 6-digit code provided on your authenticator app. You should be able to sign in now.
Setting up authentication with SMS
Alternatively, you can also choose to login to Hub with an SMS sent to a phone number of your choice.
1. Enter a mobile phone number that you’ll use to login to your account.
2. Enter the unique verification code received by your phone number.
Please note: SMS can be unreliable, especially if you’re traveling, your location is outside of EU or you have issues receiving the verification code. An authentication app ensures you can still log into your RaiseNow Hub account under these circumstances.
How do I login to RaiseNow again using the authenticator app?
To login to RaiseNow Hub again, you will need to launch the same authenticator app you used to sign up initially. The code will be different each time.
How can I change my authentication method?
You can change your authentication method in your settings, under My Profile > Security.
If you want to change your device or authentication app, you can set up another app or device. You can also switch to SMS and the other way around.
FAQs
What can I do if I can’t scan the QR code with my authenticator app?
1. If you’re on your mobile and unable to scan the QR code, click on “Enter a setup key” in your authenticator app
2. Enter your email address you’ve registered with on RaiseNow
3. Copy the setup key provided on the interface
4. Make sure ‘time based’ is selected
5. Enter the 6-digit code provided on your authenticator app on the RaiseNow login. You should be able to sign in now.
What happens if I want to change my phone number for login?
You can update your phone number in the profile security settings.
Simply go to My profile > Security > SMS Authentication, and click the link "Change mobile number". Follow the steps to update your number, and once done, you’ll be able to use the new number for your next login.
What happens if I lose access to my mobile phone or tablet for authentication?
Please contact support@raisenow.com so that we can reset your linked device (you must make sure that you send us your request from the email address registered in the RaiseNow Hub).
