Users of the RaiseNow Manager can adjust and update their profile themselves. With Merchant Admin rights, you can create additional users, assign rights and delete users that are no longer needed.
Edit my profile
To edit your profile, click on your user name (in most cases this would be your email address) in the top right corner and choose Edit.
You can now change your personal information:
After making your changes, press Save.
You also have the option to change your password if necessary:
Please, make sure you enter the exact same password you entered under New Password once more under Confirm Password.
Create New Users
If your account has Merchant Admin rights you can create new accounts for all displays you have access to. If you are not sure which user in your organisation has the correct rights feel free to contact firstname.lastname@example.org to clarify. We can also add rights to current users.
To create a new user, you open the Users tab and choose Create new user account:
Now a pop-up window opens that lets you enter the details about your new user:
Enter the first and last name as well as the e-mail address of the new user, then select the Config.
In some cases there will be only one to select from, so choose this one.
If you have more than one product with RaiseNow (e.g. E-Payment and SMS Payment) or multiple widgets, it is very likely that you have access to more than one config. In this case you can decide whether the new user should have the access to the data from all of your Configs or just some of them.
Lastly you can determine the access rights for your new user, please refer to this article about the different user rights for more info. Save and inform the new user about their new account! To Log in they can ask for a password to be sent to them here: https://manage.raisenow.com/resetting/request
Edit existing Users
To add or remove rights from an already existing user you open the Users tab. In the list of all users you choose the one you would like to alter by just clicking inside the nickname field.
You can change the email address linked to a profile by clicking Edit in the Profile section.
If an account is locked or expired you can reactivate or unlock it by clicking Edit in the Status section:
If you would like to deactivate an account (e.g. due to personnel changes) untick the enabled checkbox, it will disable the account.
If a user is locked (e.g. because they entered the wrong password too many times) you can untick the Locked checkbox, it will unlock the account.
If an account is expired, i.e. the user did not log in for 60 days, you can untick the checkbox and it will update the expiration date.
If you would like to give a user access to the API, please make sure you are using a dedicated email address not linked to a specific person. If you have any question regarding the API access
Below the User Account settings you can change the access rights to the available Merchant Configs:
To delete the access for the user to a Merchant Config choose the delete option. The user will not have any access rights to the data anymore.
If you would like to give the user more or less rights to access the data for one Merchant Config you can select edit:
To know which access rights come with the different roles please refer to this article.
To give access to another Merchant Config choose Add new:
You can now select the one you would like to add to the user's access and define their role regarding the newly added Config.
By clicking < Back to overview you will get back to the list of all users that have access to any of your Merchant Configs.
Remember: If you have access to multiple Merchants in the RaiseNow Manager (e.g. if you have a Free Account and an SMS account) you have to switch between the user lists by changing Merchants on the top left corner.
Please feel free to contact email@example.com if you have any questions.
