Here we are going to explain to you how you can retrace if a confirmation email has been sent to the donor. Flex customers additionally receive a copy of the confirmation email to the BCC email they have provided us with. Especially our RaiseNow Free customers can profit from being able to compare their data with the manager.
- Click on the tab "Actions&Events" on the RaiseNow Manager (If you can't see this tab one the users doesn't have full access. In this case please contact email@example.com)
- By clicking on that tab you open a drop-down menu (see picture below). Here choose "Actions"
3. On the left, you have a filter menu that allows you to filter different events. To see all triggered actions for non-recurring donations choose "Transaction changed to final success".
If you are offering recurring donations, these events might be insightful, too
- subscription subscribe
- subscription charge
- subscription charge error
- subscription renew
- subscription cancel
(Please note: Not all of the events are featured in the filter menu and not every event implies an email, e.g. 'Transaction changed to success')
You could also filter the status of an action. If the status says 'success' the action was triggered correctly and the confirmation email was sent.
If you would like to know if the action of one specific transaction was triggered correctly and succeeded you'll need the transaction ID. Just enter the ID into the search bar and you will see all actions that have been triggered for that specific transaction.
If you should come across a failed action that resulted in no email being sent, we kindly ask you to contact the support team.
