Set Up Google Analytics Extension
In order to use our Enhanced E-Commerce extension you will need to activate the functionality in your Google Analytics account. Please follow this step-by-step explanation:
- Enter the Settings of your Analytics account
- Enter the Settings of your "View"
- Chose e-commerce Settings
- Enable E-Commerce
- Enable enhanced E-commerce reporting
Review successful vs failed transactions
You will find a basic comparison between successful and failed transactions in the behaviour panel.
Scroll down the error category to compare validation errors with transaction errors.
And even further down to identify a specific widget instance for each error category.
See the transaction interval for the various transaction via selecting a secondary dimension and selecting "Product Variant"
Checkout Behaviour Analysis
See customer drop off in each step. Are you donation targets to high? Do you not offer the right payment methods for your customers? Do you have returning visitors?
Review product performance
If you are using multiple widgets type such as Ela or Lema you can compare their performance via the E-commerce Shopping Analysis Product Performance pane:
Scroll down on a specific widget to review performance of specific instances of that widget or compare performance for different widgets.
Compare the success of your campaigns on the Product Performance pane by using the Product Category Dimension. Which of your promoted donation purposes perform well?
