From now on, customers who use Euro as their currency can offer SEPA Direct Debit for one-off and recurring payments/donations in their donation forms (= Tamaro widgets), Touchpoint solutions from RaiseNow Hub and in Koalect.

If SEPA Direct Debit is still displayed as inactive in the RaiseNow Hub, it may be that your organization has not yet been verified for SEPA Direct Debit by Stripe, as the use of SEPA Direct Debit requires a specific activation of this payment method by Stripe.
In this case, simply follow these instructions to activate SEPA Direct Debit in your Stripe account:

- Click on this link.
- If your organization does not have a commercial register number, enter a 0 in the “Commercial register number” field (e.g. 00000000).
- Entering the VAT ID number is voluntary. If you have a VAT ID but no commercial register number, please enter the VAT ID as this will allow Stripe to verify your organization.
- Once you have completed these steps, you will be asked to upload a document containing the name and address of your organization (e.g. a utility bill, bank statement, articles of incorporation, or articles of association).
- Before uploading the document, you can adjust your organization's name and address in your Stripe account if necessary to make sure it matches the information on the document.
Verification for SEPA Direct Debit
If necessary, you can edit your organization's information and upload the document for the SEPA Direct Debit verification:
- Click on this link.
- Click on “Edit” under “Company details”.
- Edit the company information if necessary.
- Click on “Start upload”.
- Select the applicable document or “Other” (last option in the list) and click “Next”.
- Upload the document.
- Click on “Submit”.
- The document should be reviewed by Stripe within 24 hours of upload. Stripe will inform you of the result of the check and contact you if further information is required.

Once you have successfully activated SEPA Direct Debit in your Stripe account, please let us know via email to onboarding@raisenow.com so that we can configure this payment method in your Tamaro donation form.
If you have created your Stripe account directly through RaiseNow Hub (Stripe account type "managed"), activation from our side may be necessary.
