What is a Top Level keyword?
A Top Level keyword is what appears first in an SMS, enabling you to collect donations using your organisation’s name.
Example:
RAISENOW to 488.
Top Level keywords may not include spaces or special characters.
What is a Second Level keyword?
A Second Level keyword is a subcategory of a Top Level keyword. For example, you can collect donations for different campaigns within your organisation.
Example:
RAISENOW WATER to 488, or
RAISENOW FLUT to 488
Second Level keywords may not include spaces or special characters.
Eco package customers: it is only possible for these customers to collect donations with Second Level keywords. "GO", "GIVE" and "SUPPORT" are available as options for your Top Level keyword.
How long can the keyword be?
The maximum length possible is 19 characters (not counting the space and amount)
We do not advise to use very long keywords. From 10 characters and above the possibility of spelling errors is very high, especially when using auto-correction, resulting in failed donations.
How can I create more keywords?
- Premium customers: you can create unlimited Top Level and Second Level keywords
- Advanced customers: you can create unlimited Second Level keywords
- Are you neither an Advanced nor a Premium Customer? No problem, please contact the support team at support@raisenow.com and we'll sort out your keywords.
